The state of Madhya Pradesh is blessed with an amazingly vibrant and glorious heritage of handicrafts and handlooms. The National Bank For Agriculture And Rural Development or NABARD has been extending support towards promotion and nurturing of handloom and handicraft products in Madhya Pradesh through various initiatives.
Festoon Media was given the responsibility by NABARD (Madhya Pradesh) to prepare a coffee table book that would focus on the wide variety of handloom and handicraft traditions of the state and would also highlight the role played by NABARD in supporting these crafts and their craftsmen.

This prestigious and equally huge project involved extensive traveling for days through numerous districts, towns and remote villages of Madhya Pradesh, capturing images of the crafts and the artisans, speaking with them, knowing about their art, their skills, their life as well as their challenges.
The coffee table book was formally inaugurated by the Honourable Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan in the presence of the then Chairman of NABARD, Dr. G. R. Chintala and the then CGM of NABARD (Madhya Pradesh), Smt. T S Raji Gain.
